Breakfast is included with the overnight stay, with a nice choice of options and tropical fruits. The staff were friendly and experienced, and the room was comfortable, though arranged a bit oddly. It was painted all in dark colors, with the bed tucked into an awkward little nook. The 1080p TV was a rare treat at this price and made up for some of that. The bathroom was somewhat dated.

The staff are really friendly, and breakfast was good. I tried nearly all the fruit, and it was delicious. The watermelon juice and banana were good too, along with the mixed fruit. You get toasted bread and two not-too-big eggs.

We both ordered the marinated beans, and felt better after this meal than after most meals on the island. The food was much better than we expected, with seriously big portions. Definitely worth a visit.
4/10
The staff were very polite and friendly, but the food was dry and bland. The burritos weren’t rolled properly, so you have to eat them with a knife and fork. The guacamole was watery and the sour cream looked old. We ate half the meal and then left.

Mexican food in Asia can be hit or miss, but this place got it right. The dishes were surprisingly tasty, and the staff were friendly. It’s a great spot off the main strip. Try the watermelon smoothie and veggie quesadilla.
