I was told I couldn't have a cappuccino while using a beach chair unless I spent 200 000, the minimum for two people, even though I was by myself. Really disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it, especially with so many other nice places on the island.

The beach here has lots of rocks, though shops nearby rent and sell shoes and snorkelling masks. The hotel itself is small and peaceful, right by the beach where the turtles are, and the staff are friendly. But the breakfast is very, very poor. You get juice, coffee, and one sweet or savoury item. If you have eggs, you have to pay extra for yoghurt with cereal or fruit. Really bad breakfast, as I said.

A great place to stop and unwind while looking out for turtles. I had the vegetarian curry and really enjoyed it, and there’s a big choice of food. The staff were wonderful.

We stayed three nights in early July 2025, and there were problems in several areas. Breakfast quality was ridiculous: Nasi Goreng wasn't ready at 7AM because they said they had only just started cooking the rice. At check-in, Pizza, Calamari, and Coconut juice weren't available either. The room had a very loud air conditioner, even with ear plugs. The bathroom window was open by design, so we wedged a towel into the glass to keep mosquitoes out. The shower area has a very sharp edge that could easily hurt someone, especially kids. We also found cleaning equipment left in the bathroom and the cups hadn't been cleaned. Nobody explained how the locker worked when we checked in, though I didn't ask. Towels can only be changed after two days, which is inconvenient when you use them often for swimming. The rental bicycles were poor quality.
