Bali Lush

We keep coming back with our Sol Heart Yoga retreat, and this was our fourth time at Bali Lush. The place feels like a peaceful paradise, tucked away in nature, and the traditional style of the accommodation still comes with plenty of comfort for guests to unwind. The team made the whole retreat easy, from the planning stage right through to our departure. They were so collaborative and made us feel like family, not just guests. Thanks to everyone for holding such a lovely space for us. We love you and are already looking forward to visit number five. We needed a quiet break midway through our drive from Jakarta around Bali, and this was just right. Bali Lush is tucked away from the crowds, with the kind of beautiful highland scenery I picture when I think of Bali. The staff were great, the service was good, and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. Our Balinese villa was lovely, with an outdoor bathroom and shower. David took us by scooter up the mountain to a coffee plantation, which made for a fun adventure. Thanks to David and Camron!

I was looking for somewhere peaceful after a friend recommended Bali Lush, and it gave me that and much more. I booked one night, then kept extending: first to four, and eventually I stayed seven. The owners and staff were so welcoming, and the farm-to-table kitchen helped the place feel like a second home. A real taste of paradise.

I wanted to show my 10-year-old son the natural, unspoiled beauty of Bali, and Bali Lush was just what I had in mind. We stayed one night and both loved it. Rice paddies and gorgeous nature surround the place, the people are incredibly warm, and the simple, charming room had everything we needed and then some. The home-cooked food was delicious, and it was great value. We had a lovely chat with David, the owner. We also walked to a nearby waterfall and joined a workshop about Balinese offerings. There were other options too, like cooking classes and yoga. The area is full of life and beautiful scenery. Getting around by motorbike means some adventurous ups and downs, but the stay was absolutely worth it and left us feeling recharged.
