Pulau Weh Resort

We came for the house reef and found lots of fish, plus a turtle or two, right in front. The relaxed atmosphere also made it easy to arrange boat rides to nearby dive sites. We only snorkelled, but were able to join a couple of dive outings by boat. The bungalows are beautiful, very comfortable, and well maintained. The team are genuinely lovely and made our stay on Pulau Weh feel special, with a touch of low-key luxury.

Great value right by the beach, whether you’re coming to stay or eat. The staff were super friendly, especially Aulia, who deserves a special mention.

The beachside diving area is convenient, and the wooden jetty is beautiful. PWDR has spacious chalets with classic styling, ocean or forest views, and modern amenities. There’s an airy dining area and a cozy lounge as well. We had five delicious meals a day, and the friendly staff made the stay comfortable. It’s a secluded retreat on a private beach, and I’d especially recommend it to people who love diving.

I’m sorry to the owner. If I’d known the jetty was private, I would have asked before using it. Where I’m from in Europe, roads, bridges, and similar places that are open with no private signs are completely public. It would help to put up signs saying the beach and jetty are private and for resort guests only. Anyway, I’m sorry about my earlier review. I can do better than that.
