Hotel Grand Trisula Indramayu

The big floor-to-ceiling window made the already roomy room feel even more spacious. I was there for just one night in Indramayu, and found the hotel modern but still cozy. Service was attentive throughout, from parking and the rooms to the restaurant. Breakfast had loads to choose from, including a chocolate fountain and crepes the kids will love. Thanks for looking after us.

We were there for an event and stayed two nights. The mosquitoes are as bad as people say, so bring repellent and keep the room door shut. The worst surprise came after breakfast, when I returned to find a snake in the bathroom. A friend caught it and I reported it to the hotel. They apologized, but that was all they offered after such an unsettling incident. Indramayu is a small city and this could have been a decent place to stay if the snake hadn't been there.

In my opinion, this is Indramayu's best hotel. The location is convenient, and it has a good range of facilities, including Wi-Fi, laundry, a restaurant, and hot water. The rooms can still get mosquitoes even with the AC running, but the hotel leaves mosquito lotion in each room.

There’s a decent amount of outdoor space, with balconies in some room types, and the room and bathroom were fairly clean. The TV only had local channels. Watch out for the old-style doorknob: its handle left me stuck in the bathroom. Mosquitoes are another issue, though they do provide an electric repellent.
