The location is convenient, but the place itself was a letdown. The building and furniture are old, the walls look unfinished, the AC was broken, and the bathroom water smelled bad. There was mess all around, and it was noisy. Staff made noise both in the morning and late at night, so I couldn't sleep properly. The snacks weren't good either, especially compared with other Airy rooms at the same price. Service was poor, yet the price felt expensive. Other Airy locations offer better service and more reasonable rates. I also found many staff members unfriendly and dishonest. Keep an eye on your belongings, since I worry they might be stolen.

The room was clean and tidy, and I'm glad I booked it. There was construction next door, though the noise wasn't too bad once the window was shut. I tightened the loose handle with a tiny folded piece of paper, which cut the sound a lot. The staff were excellent, if shy and not very likely to look up at you. They could use more English.

The construction opposite the building made the area feel dusty unless it rained, and the noise went on until 1 a.m. on weekdays before starting again around 5:30. Apart from that, Residence 100 is a great budget hotel right in the city center.

The price is cheap. The water heater and AC worked, but the exhaust fan was a bit loud. Wi-Fi was fast on my first day and slower the next. I had to ask before they brought the Airy shower kit and snacks.

It's an affordable place in central Jakarta, and a good place to stay overall. The construction site across from the hotel is noisy, though, so I couldn't rest well at night.
