The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with Indonesian and fusion dishes, fresh juices, coffee, nasi goreng, and cap cay among my favorites. I was in Jakarta for a short visit and found Aryaduta Menteng well placed for walking to the US embassy, national monument, masjid istiqlal, gereja katedral, and national galeri. The decor was fantastic. My room did have a few minor issues: the water was a little warm, and some light switches wouldn’t turn off. Still, the good AC and comfortable bed were enough for me. I’d come back to stay in Jakarta.

The natural, relaxing feel was a nice surprise for a hotel right in the middle of the city. Aryaduta Menteng works well for a family staycation, and kids can have a fun, memorable time too. Staff are friendly, facilities are good, the food choices are complete, and the parking area is spacious.
