Parking is wherever there’s space behind the building, since there’s no dedicated parking area. They assured us it was safe. The room was comfy and fairly clean, the surroundings were quiet, and staff were polite. The hotel is in a strategic spot that’s easy to reach. Book early in the morning if you can, since it’s cheaper then and the price goes up closer to the 14.00pm check-in time.

The room looked nothing like the photo, and the sheets were dirty with lots of blood stains. There were mosquitoes, yet guests were charged. The service was bad.

The service left me very disappointed, and there was probably no sense of proper conduct. The night receptionist, a Nias man in a black T-shirt, was especially very poor in his service. Water ran during the day but was yellow, then stopped completely at night, leaving no water at all.

The room was decent for the price, even though the hotel was under renovation. There was no Wi-Fi or hot water for bathing, and the staff wore no uniforms. It felt more like an Oyo-style hotel for young teenagers than a star hotel. Service was terrible: the male staff and parking attendants were rude, the parking area they directed us to had no lighting, and the receptionist and other staff were unfriendly, indifferent, and cynical as we came and went.
