Hotel Gran Mahakam

Alissa at the front desk was friendly and helpful, and the room at Gran Mahakam Jakarta was clean. The staff were lovely, including the omelette chef, whose cooking was so good I went back for a second one. I set aside my first day to relax and managed that with a one-hour massage followed by a body scrub at the Gran Mahakam spa. Een was a delightful masseuse, giving me a perfectly relaxing massage and a wonderful scrub that left my skin soft and smooth. I'm very happy with our stay and will book here again when we're back in Jakarta.

The gym was clean, well equipped, and thoughtfully set up, with refreshments for women, a small but appreciated touch. Although Hotel Gran Mahakam is close to the lively Blok M district, it still felt safe and peaceful, a comfortable place to unwind after being out. What I remember most is how warmly and professionally the staff treated me. They listened carefully, answered questions clearly, and had thoughtful conversations that made me feel respected rather than processed. The hotel has classic charm and comfortable surroundings, and I'd gladly return to this dependable spot in central Jakarta. The breakfast had a good variety for the price, and the service was good too. I was surprised by how spacious the room was and how spotless everything felt, especially for an older hotel. We had a pleasant stay and will definitely come back.
