The sheets were really dirty, ants were everywhere, and the air conditioning didn't work. The rooms were very noisy, and I was next to a mosque. The Wi-Fi never worked either.

The room was dirty and smelled foul. The toilet leaked and smelled worse, and the water pressure was awful. I felt uncomfortable the whole time. The sheets had yellow marks and spots, and the towels smelled like they hadn't been properly washed in weeks. Service was cold and rude throughout. Nobody greeted me, smiled, or offered to help with my luggage. I felt unwelcome, like I wasn't even there. Breakfast was just a set meal, with no buffet or options, and there was no consideration for what guests might prefer. This place felt like a disaster from start to finish, and I regret staying here.

I came with my kids, and the man asked us to add 200000. He knew I'd only spent 175000, but still asked me for more.

The biggest problem came when I tried to leave early for a 10 AM meeting at Central Park mall. We wanted to check out at 9:30 and leave our bags in the lobby, but the male receptionist said they couldn't hold them because the lobby was too small. I'd read that other reviewers had been allowed to leave bags, and I couldn't see how the lobby size would have changed. He said we could put them back in our room and check out at noon, so we did. I had to cut my meeting short to return and check out exactly at 12. On day one, a staff member had also told me early check-in would cost Rp 100,000. The whole experience made the hotel seem more focused on money than service, especially the strange rule about charging new occupants for stains that hadn't been checked and reported in advance. We chose this low-budget hotel for its location near Central Park mall, where I had a meeting on our last day and other business to take care of. The Super Deluxe Room was spacious, and the room and shared areas, including the staircases and outdoor seating, were clean. Room 611's bathroom had no mildew, and seemed well maintained. They must re-grout the shower floor and sink from time to time. There were a few things I checked and reported straight away after reading reviews about stain charges: tiny black spots on the pillows and a faded yellowish mark on the blanket. A staff member inspected them and said they were old stains, so I wouldn't be charged. He said only new, fresh stains like blood would be a problem. The shower area was cramped, with little room to move, and the fixed shower head meant I had to stand with my body against the glass door. The body gel and shampoo dispensers barely worked even after pressing them repeatedly. The shower drained poorly, though I could live with it. No tea bags or instant coffee were supplied, just two bottles of water, glasses, and a teapot. There was no hairdryer, and I had to ask for bath towels. Slippers were provided. The air conditioning wasn't cold enough to be comfortable under the thick blanket. The walls were very thin. We heard loud bangs several times each day, early in the morning and late in the afternoon, from somewhere in the alley. I don't know if it was other guests or housekeepers. The housekeeper's cart was often parked in the corner right outside our door. We could also hear loud conversations, doors slamming, and children crying. For me, the good and bad points together add up to three stars out of five.
