Hotel Ciputra Jakarta

We stayed in a deluxe room, and it was good. The service was polite and very kind, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Having the mall, grocery store, Starbucks, and restaurants all in the same building made the location especially convenient. The gym could use renovation. They're already improving the pool area, so I hope the gym is next.

The hotel was clean, in a great location, and connected to a shopping mall. Our room was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful, so we had a good stay. We were disappointed that the pool was closed for maintenance. I understand it has to be done sometime, but no one told us when we booked or at check-in. It's also odd that none of the many reviews seem to mention it, even though they are otherwise so consistent. We found menus in our room for the gallery restaurant, but were told those dishes weren't being served, only buffet food. We don't eat buffet, so we went out for meals and didn't spend money at the hotel.

Check-in went smoothly, and I reminded guest officer Elsa that I had requested a room in the new wing because my girls have allergies. She took note, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a decorated mirror and cakes because we were the guests of the day. The next day we moved to the new wing without any questions. I'd made the request online, but emailed seven times and never got a reply from what seemed to be a dead email address. Breakfast had a good, wide selection of staples. I'd come back if my girls return for dance training.

Hotel Ciputra Jakarta worked very well for our family. The kids loved the pool and Kids Corner, which made the stay much more enjoyable. The lobby also looks luxurious and gives a high-class impression as soon as you arrive. When we asked for extra amenities, the staff were responsive and helpful, and everything came quickly. If we visit Jakarta again, we'd love to return. I'd definitely recommend Hotel Ciputra Jakarta to anyone coming to the city.
