Hotel Mustika Senen

I paid Rp 275k, which included breakfast and a snack, and the food was good, or at least decent. The price felt low for the value, and service was good. It’s right beside the main road and near the mall, with a classic atmosphere. The downside was a dirty blanket, plus noise in the lobby and room. Someone was literally doing karaoke in the dining room until 00.00 T_T

For me, this hotel is good enough for its price compared with similar places. It’s in a strategic spot near the station and terminal, with food shops everywhere. The facilities may not be that comfortable and the staff may not be very smiley, but it doesn’t make sense to compare it with a 4 or 5 star hotel. At least the staff respond and are ready to help, and the food gives you energy to start the day. Breakfast is buffet style and includes fruit. The AC works well, there’s hot water for drinking and showering, and it’s clean and quiet. Dude, that’s already amazing.

I called on August 1, 2023 and the receptionist I spoke to was uncooperative, unclear in his answers, and made jokes that felt unprofessional. He left me waiting on hold, then hung up abruptly, so I couldn’t resolve my concerns and was frustrated. Later, a receptionist named "Sam" sorted out my issues promptly. Still, everyone representing the hotel needs to be consistently professional. I hope this feedback helps Hotel Mustika Senen improve its service and give future guests a better experience. Good value for a stay in Jakarta near pasar senen station. For a friendly budget you get breakfast for one person, free tea, mineral water, and coffee with sugar. Nice service, highly recommended. Good job mustika hotel.
