Hotel O Kost Arie 1

The owner was polite and behaved very well. They even gave me extra connectors for charging my devices. I suspect there may be a communication gap between AGODA/OYO and the owner, because some things seemed missing in the service. During my 4-night stay, I got only 500ml of water and a towel, with no soap or shampoo. There were little insects in the bathroom, which was really scary, and no tissue box. They didn’t ask to change the bed cover or towel, so I used the same ones for all 4 nights. The last night was 31st night of 2023. I asked and messaged them twice for permission to go out and celebrate New Year, but they wouldn’t let me. They said the President Election meant the government had strict rules, so I stayed in at midnight. I came back before 10.00 pm, and they closed their main gate at 12.00 am. I wondered whether Agoda and OYO might be why the kost owner wasn’t interested in serving guests well.

In the Rawamangun area, the location is great and strategic. It’s cheap but worth the price. The room was very small, though clean, with enough facilities, and the staff were kind.

I paid to book through Agode, but the property refused to let me check in. I couldn’t cancel and had already paid. Bad property, bad attitude.

You can find the place easily right off the main road, and the location is good. It felt like a special place to rest, not just an ordinary one. The facilities were outstanding, and I recommend staying here.
