OYO 146 Menteng Residence Near Kementerian Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional/Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional (Kementerian PPN/Bappenas)

I booked a double room for two people but got a single because they "forgot" to mention the double wasn't available. The room was dirty and things weren't working. Staff used a translation app because they couldn't speak English. When I asked to cancel and get a refund, they understood and said I'd get my money back in a few days, but I still haven't received it. This isn't how guests should be treated. Be careful if you book here.

The Wi-Fi was very poor, and the whole stay was disappointing. The building was old and broken, with a damaged sofa, TV, ceiling, and toilet flush. There was no water at the sink, no shower holder, and no handle on the bathroom door. The bathroom and toilet were disgusting. Linen, including the sheets, pillow covers, and bed cover, was dirty, as were the walls and bathroom. I even found pubic hair between the bed and wall and under the bed cover. Dirty, disgusting, broken down. Please don't stay until the owner fixes everything.

At 7 AM the gate was closed and no staff were on standby. I called the number listed in the OYO app about 20 times, and the staff only woke up at 8 AM, making me late for all my activities. The owner's clothes were hanging all over the house. In my room the wall and bedsheet were filthy, the toilet wouldn't flush, and the shower handle was broken. It was the worst, and absolutely not worth the money. I'd give zero stars if I could.

I left and booked somewhere else because the room was really dirty, there was no hot shower or toilet paper, and the hospitality was poor. Their English was limited too. They refused to refund me. Worst experience ever.
