The room was mediocre, about 2/5, and the service was 0/5. I was told twice by reception that breakfast was included as a free upgrade, even though I hadn't bought it with my room package. I found that odd and asked specifically because I'd never received a free breakfast upgrade before, but she kept saying yes. The next morning they charged me 120k per person. When I explained the mix-up, they denied there had been one. It felt like a place trying to scam tourists. If you can't speak Bahasa Indonesia, be careful, as they may add hidden costs. Stay safe.

We enjoyed spending time with family in the hotel's distinctive but welcoming spaces, and the restaurant meals were noteworthy. The accommodations also exceeded what we expected. Our first stay at Paviliun Raden Saleh, Artotel Curated was on 23rd March 2026, when our family of four took a short staycation after the Lebaran holiday. From check-in through check-out, the staff were warm, attentive, and caring. Everyone we met was courteous and professional, helped us when needed, and made us feel welcome. Mr. ASCO Hamdani, the General Manager, deserves special credit for his leadership and for how well the team handled the stay. We were very pleased with the experience and look forward to coming back. The room looked beautiful and had an espresso machine, but the stay with my elderly mother was frustrating from the start. Grab's drop-off point is marked incorrectly, the lobby is hard to locate, and there are no clear directions online. A bellboy kindly took us to reception on the 8th floor, but the desk was empty and we had to wait. Getting from the lobby to the room elevators meant a very long walk, difficult for my mother. We were given just one key card, and it didn't work; the bellboy saw that too. The room was much darker than advertised because the headrest lights were broken. There are no phones, so everything goes through WhatsApp, and it took 30 minutes to get a room service menu. The shower never got properly hot. After an hour waiting for a technician, I was told the room was too far from the heater, but nobody offered a fix or a room change. We lost half a day waiting over an unnecessary problem. At this price, lukewarm water and a half-hour wait for a menu are unacceptable. The decor can't make up for the lack of basic hospitality and accessibility. We'll stay somewhere else next time.

There's a lot of space for taking photos around the swimming pool, and the rooms are very comfortable. The hotel is close to the planetarium, and the front office staff member was friendly and explained things clearly. The parking area is very large. Seems suitable for a family trip or a solo holiday.
