A good-value hotel in a strategic spot, with a real home-away-from-home feel. Be sure to try the on-site kopitiam, its comfort food is some of the best you'll ever have.

The hotel's organization is one of the strongest parts of the stay. It's among the few in Jakarta with a highly organized system that meets global standards. Communication between staff and management is very professional and well structured, in keeping with high international standards. The facilities are modern, but the rooms are cramped because they're so small. The Single Spring Beds don't offer enough support for comfortable sleep, and the air in the rooms feels stale. Opening a window for ventilation brings in noise from air conditioners in neighboring buildings. Better ventilation and more comfortable beds would make this a better choice for travelers.

If you're a light sleeper, try to get a room away from the street. Aside from that, 10/10, I'd recommend it and would come back to both the hotel and the kopitiam. I spent a night in the Studio room in this cozy, affordable place in South Jakarta. It was spacious and comfortable, with a walk-in closet and a long table that would work well for a longer stay. There's also a pantry with a water dispenser and stove, handy if you want some midnight indomie. The restaurant downstairs, Kachou Kopitiam, has really good, affordable food. Breakfast sets start at 25k.
