Tendean Residences

My room was spacious, very clean, and kept spotless with the daily cleaning. They also refreshed the snacks each day, which was a nice little extra. Staff were warm and helpful throughout, and check-in went smoothly. Just be ready to leave a 100,000 IDR cash deposit. Hot water was always available, and they provide free drinking water. WiFi was the weak point: it was fine for basic browsing and email, but slow and unreliable at times. Even with that, I had a very enjoyable, comfortable stay at TENDEAN RESIDENCES in Jakarta.

Every room has a balcony, and the room itself is really spacious. The bed was comfortable, sheets got changed regularly, and the hot water worked, though water pressure could be weak sometimes. They leave snacks and drinks, plus towels and bathroom supplies. I'd bring my own shampoo or shower gel since the little bottles of shampoo or foam they provide are small. It's in Tendean, so I don't have much else to add about the location.

The location is handy, with a convenience store close by and public transport easy to reach. Staff were friendly, quick to respond, and willing to listen to comments. Rooms are large and clean enough, and there's a kitchen on every floor. A good hotel for its level.

For a budget hotel, the room was surprisingly large, and the bed and linen were clean. The bathroom was clean too, with fresh towels and a hot shower that worked well. There's free-flowing water and a shared kitchen, and every room has a small balcony for smoking since smoking indoors isn't allowed. The AC took a long time to cool our room. There were floor marks that we first mistook for dirt, but then realized were stains. Also, the hotel is near a busy road, so traffic noise is noticeable, especially during rush hour when there's often a jam.
