Bayfront Villa Jepara

The food was easily the highlight for me. It was cheap and delicious, and everything I ordered was good. Try the beef burger, ravioli, and bandeng bakar. We ate at the restaurant in a beachside saung/lesehan, with an amazing view. I booked a deluxe pool villa for two nights through Agoda, July 31 to August 2, 2014, but had August 1 to 3 in my head. When I arrived on August 1, I’d already missed the first night. My mistake, though it would’ve been nice if the hotel had called to remind me. The villa had a nice view of the pool and sea, a queen bed, hot water, and a nice interior. Service was pretty good, too. They took care of all my requests and fixed a broken lamp soon after I reported it. The beach itself is overrated. It’s small and not clean, and there were lots of motorcycles riding around. My kid nearly got hit by one, which was awful. The villa has a great sunset view, good food, and good service. I hope it improves further.

We’ve stayed here three times, each visit for 6 to 10 days. It’s a lovely property with a nice atmosphere, and the staff are kind and friendly. I’d like to come back.

Lovely, quiet spot with a beautiful ocean view and a small, nice pool. Ask for extra cleaning :)

A fairly priced hotel by the sea, with a small pool. The bathroom needs renovating, and the bathtub has been replaced with a modern shower.
