The pool and skybar were a highlight, especially with the sea view, and the food was good too. It was such a peaceful spot for a quick break from work. My room felt roomy, clean, and really cozy, and the owner and staff were lovely and helpful. I had a great stay last week and would come back.

The room was large and luxurious, and the hotel itself is nice, with a bar and restaurant. The staff were generally good, especially the person serving breakfast, and the breakfast menu was amazing. But the heat in room 309 made it hard to enjoy our stay. The AC ran around the clock and still couldn't cool the room enough, even though it was hotter outside. Sun came straight in from both the front and back, and lights also shone into the room at night; I couldn't find a way to turn them off. At the back, a neighboring room's fan unit blew hot air toward the chair, so it wasn't somewhere we could sit and relax. I was sweating constantly, and even the toilet felt cooler than the room. I left five stars for everything at first, but the response to my complaint cost the hotel a star. I was blamed for setting the AC to cold, which wasn't a nice or professional reply, and my question about the fan unit blowing toward the chair went unanswered. In Indonesia everyone knows how to set an AC to hot or cold, with the heat here year-round. There was also a receptionist at check-in and checkout who looked very unhappy, never smiled, and wasn't welcoming. That changed my mood.

We paid about 500k rupiah for a double room for one night, which felt reasonable. The location is quite remote, but it's calm and relaxing, and I liked the mix of modern building design and nature. The hotel welcomed us well on our first night in Jepara, and service was good. You can request extra help over WhatsApp; replies were fairly quick in the evening, though slow early in the morning. The food was okay, typical hotel fare, a bit pricey but decent tasting. The bathroom needs attention: the walls should be dry and clean, but fungus seems to be starting to grow, possibly because there isn't enough air circulation. Even so, we had a great experience.

The bathroom felt awkward to use because it's so large, and the shower is a long way from the door. I worried about slipping when the floor was wet, so a safer, more practical layout would help. I also thought the room could use more aesthetic detail. The furniture seemed randomly placed, perhaps because the room is so big, even though the pieces themselves are good quality and show Jepara's craftsmanship. Better grouping could make the space feel more refined. The hotel has a beautiful design and is comfortable, a really pleasant place for a relaxing staycation.
