The Bodhi Tree Hostel

The garden and indoor areas are spacious and beautiful. The dorm itself is basic but works fine. The AC cools the room without getting too strong, which was just right for me. They provide a towel, and there are lockers. There’s a breakfast and dinner menu, though usually nobody’s around later on. The great night market is just a minute away, with plenty of seafood. We were really happy with the ferry port pickup and drop-off.

I stayed in the dormitory, which has bunk beds with covers, a towel, and a tropical blanket. The bathroom was nice, and there’s free coffee, tea, and hot water. You can also relax on the second floor.

The staff are incredibly kind, and they even let you rent a scooter and leave it at the ferry so you don’t have to deal with that hassle. Thanks, Fita, and everyone else. I hope I’ve got your name right ❤️ This was the single best place for food on the island! There wasn’t much savory stuff, though :)

Laila is so sweet and funny, and really helpful with anything you need. The location’s good, too. Just don’t expect the hostel to be very clean. For a simple backpacker place, I’d call cleanliness average. I’ve stayed in cleaner places before.
