Just a two-minute walk from the pier, and John makes a perfect breakfast. Sylvia and John welcome you like family, and it’s a big family with lots of doggos. The patio is a lovely place to hang out, though I would’ve liked a hammock 😅. My favorite place in Java so far 😍. It’s the kind of hostel you want to keep secret. Hope to see you again 👋

I came for a few nights and somehow I’m still here seven weeks later 😂🔥. L’isola Che is right by the harbor and close to everything, but it’s the people that make it special. You arrive as a guest and leave feeling like family. Silvia and the team are welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed, creative, and full of good energy. Stories, laughter and late-night music just happen naturally. A great fit for travelers after something real. 5/5

I spent one night in a dorm before switching to a private room. The air conditioning was strong, the location was good, and I had lovely conversations with Iman and Silvia, who were great staff. Breakfast was included and really good, with proper bread and nice coffee. You can also book tours or rent scooters here. Oddly, the dorm bathrooms don’t have a sink, and I’m not sure why. Still, a lovely spot.

The best part of this hostel is the owner and the people working there. The bedrooms and breakfast are great too, and this has been my best experience in Indonesia, mostly thanks to them. Thanks, Iman, and also John and Ari! They offer plenty of activities, including snorkeling and scooter rental.
