This place deserves more than a quick overnight before a flight. I wish we’d spent longer here, because it’s a calm, beautiful haven in Denpasar, away from the feeling of an airport hotel. The colonial architecture has a lovely old-world charm, and the antiques and details are thoughtfully arranged throughout the large property. There are so many spots to unwind, from quiet corners to comfortable sunbeds, and we loved having real space to switch off. The spa, yoga, and food all fit the restful feel. Our bedroom was gorgeous, with very soft sheets and incredibly comfortable pillows. We slept better here than anywhere else on Bali. It felt luxurious but relaxed, not flashy. The staff were warm, gracious, and attentive. Breakfast was amazing, and the whole atmosphere felt serene and indulgent. Just wow.

It was easy to reach, close to the airport but away from the airport traffic. The place felt special, with lots of space and beautiful antique pieces arranged with real style. It had an opulent look, but also a quiet elegance. What a talent! The best kind of stay for doing very little: yoga, breakfast, pool, high tea, reading, a drink, a bath, then sleep, in that order. Sighhhhh. Service was friendly and good, and everything was presented like a mansion somewhere in the south of France. Breakfast was nice.

We spent two nights in the Baham room and loved it. The design was beautiful, every detail felt considered, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was stunning, and the whole room had such lovely, memorable scents. The team were kind and welcoming, breakfast was delicious and generous, and the location was ideal, close to great restaurants and cafés and only a short walk from the beach. Thank you to everyone. We’d absolutely come back. 💕

You’d never guess this hidden gem was there after coming in from the busy streets. The Balquisse Hotel feels like a magical, peaceful haven, beautifully designed with attention to detail everywhere. The staff make it even more special. They’re a fantastic team, and nothing seemed too much trouble. I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re considering a stay, go for it, you’ll be blown away. We’ll definitely visit again if we return to Bali.

The calm here felt like a little pocket of nature in the middle of Jimbaran's chaos. I loved the personal touches and the hotel's distinctive feel. The food was fresh and healthy, and the staff were welcoming and professional. I fell for the Balquisse and would happily come back. Thanks for having us.
