A great backpacker spot, with lots of inexpensive food nearby and beaches just a 5-10 minute ride away. You’ll need a bike, but the hostel rents them cheaply. The location works really well once you have one. I’ve stayed here several times and love it. Ronny, the manager, is incredibly kind. He’ll share local tips on places to visit, show you how to ride a bike, and even teach you the right way to eat tropical fruit. :D

The owner has a heart of gold, and the common area makes it easy to meet people. The beds are the most comfortable, the hostel is very clean, and the hot showers are amazing. There are plenty of places to eat close by, and many surf beaches are a short ride away. The scooters are nice, and the helmets are new and actually fit!!! I’ll definitely stay again. Thanks!

Ronny even collected me from the airport at 2 am and waited though my flight was kind of late. With just my backpack, it was easy for him to pick me up. Other travellers had warned me that arriving at Denpasar airport could be unpleasant because taxi drivers harass you, so I really appreciated it. I’m planning to return in a few days and will rent one of his scooters this time. I spent two nights here, and they were the best. Ronny is very kind and helpful, and the small hostel is extremely social. I met people who gave me rides on the back of their bikes, and we did lots of things together. Ronny joined us for dinner and a trip to the fish market, which made for a memorable stay. The rooms all have AC, comfortable clean beds, hot water, and small lockers for valuables. Breakfast is included: bread, jam, peanut butter, and raw eggs for everyone to cook themselves. I was happy it wasn’t pancakes. Shoes aren’t allowed inside, as in many places in Indonesia.

There’s a 24/7 supermarket with an ATM nearby. I also loved the rooftop view, where I had a bintang almost every night. Ronnie knows local spots, from fish markets to beaches that tourists don’t know about. The hostel is in the middle of southern Bali, surrounded by beaches but just beyond the busy areas. It’s a really nice place in Jimbaran, with good service, clean rooms, and a simple but sufficient breakfast. It wasn’t expensive, and the host, Ronnie, is a great guy who’ll arrange almost anything. I really enjoyed staying here.

We had a lot of fun meeting guests from around the world and hanging out together. Ronny was very friendly and showed us some great spots and hidden beaches. The hostel was clean and nice, and breakfast was great. We stayed four nights and will definitely come back.
