The grounds and pool are lovely, and the staff were fabulous. We visited in low season and practically had the whole resort to ourselves. The bungalows have a great jungle feel and sit somewhere peaceful. The amenities are pretty basic, but that makes sense for the price. Definitely worth staying here if this is the area you want to visit!

We stayed in the large house and it worked perfectly for the three of us, with a separate double bedroom for each person. Housekeeping kept it clean, and the scenery was beautiful. It’s a short walk to the beach, there’s scooter rental nearby, and Uluwatu Temple is about a 30-minute scooter ride away. At night there were a lot of dead bugs in the pool, and the stray dogs by the front door were scary, so I’m taking off one star.

The beach is amazing, with an authentic feel and surfers away from the obvious spots. Airport pickup was great and made things really easy. The shower and toilet both broke, and it was hard to get them fixed. Still, it was an amazing place overall and I’d stay again. Great value too.

We rented the villa, not one of the bungalows, and it was gorgeous. The staff were really nice and helpful, and I’d happily stay here again. The hotel restaurant wasn’t very good, but there are plenty of good places to eat nearby. You can also rent a scooter from the hotel for a cheap price.

The owner was very kind and let us check out later, and arranged an airport taxi at a reasonable price. The included breakfast was simple, just a pancake or French toast with a cup of coffee or tea. The room had air-conditioning, though the nights were so cool we didn’t even need to use it.
