Twenty4Seven Bed & Breakfast

I only wanted a place where I could rest, but I couldn’t sleep here and can’t recommend it. My room was next to the chill-out area, where people talked loudly and music played through the night. I raised it with the woman at reception, and she asked them to turn the music off. They did for a while, then put it back on. When I asked to change rooms, she laughed. Later, at 1 am, she spoke loudly on the phone right next to our room. I don’t think she cared whether we could rest. I spent one night there, and it was horrible.

The owner Romano was so helpful, and the big beds were comfortable. It’s very affordable for what you get, though a bit out of the way. There’s an amazing restaurant nearby that the owner recommended, and a pool close by too. I absolutely loved staying here and can’t rate it highly enough. Highly recommend!

There are lots of places to sit and relax around the property, and the outside patio feels serene and mosquito-free at night with the incense coil repellent. Local shops and restaurants are an easy walk away, giving a glimpse of local life. The delicious breakfast deserves a Michelin star, and the kind people working here make the place special. The rooms and washrooms are cleaned daily, and the whole property is spotless. The dorm room air conditioning only comes on at night and cools it to a perfect sleeping temperature. The beds are very comfortable, with silky soft sheets that had me wondering if this is what sleeping on a cloud feels like. Bring ear plugs, though, because roosters crow at dawn here, as they do everywhere in Bali. A wonderful experience I won’t soon forget! OPA! OPA! OPA!

The owners were friendly and open-minded, and the whole staff were warm, talkative people. I learned about Indonesia from them. For the quality they provide, the price is surprisingly good. A nice, cozy place.
