Pretty nice.

The room is on the small side, but comfortable for two. There’s a shower, heater, shampoo, soap, and towels in the bathroom. The hotel is clean and looked after, and both the receptionist and the woman working there were friendly. Booking through Agoda may bring the price down to around Rp 117,000 from the usual Rp 253,000.

I was really disappointed. I reserved the hotel on December 12th for December 13th and 14th, and told them I expected to arrive between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM. On the 13th I left Surabaya at 2:00 PM, then reached the hotel in heavy rain. I rang the bell again and again and waited three hours at the locked gate. Nobody seemed to be there. Calls to the number on my reservation went unanswered. It was nearly dusk and I was cold, so I booked another hotel right away and paid there. Otherwise, I would have lost my money and still had nowhere to stay. 😡

At 91 thousand rupiah through Traveloka, it’s a decent stopover when traveling to Jombang. It comes with a TV, AC, and a water heater for hot water.
