Niramaya Villa Bali

Great location, and I really liked the room, though it’s a bit small. It’s perfect for one person or a couple. There’s also a very cute pool bar.

This little villa was my home in Bali in 2022, and I lived here for over eight months. It’s close to everything in Seminyak and Kuta, and they have bikes you can use. The place is very safe, private, and quiet, even with the loud, busy hotels near double six. The staff have been really helpful, and the laundry service is very cheap. Most people staying here are long term, so they don’t usually leave reviews. Goodbye, my little home ❤️

The pool was covered in green mould and moss, and my husband asked if he could scrub the floor. By the following morning, green swirls were floating in the water. Inside, the upstairs one bedroom apartment we were given in November was clearly in need of renovation. The sinks looked as though chemicals had spilled across both basins and the dish drainer, and one plug was full of mould. We bought stainless steel cleaner and vinegar and scrubbed them until they were usable. The air conditioner was noisy and leaked into the wardrobe and my belongings. The cabinet outside the bathroom was rotting, and the walls needed fresh paint. This was our fourth stay at Niramaya Villas, and it was disappointing. We paid more for less this time. In February 2023, we stayed in the upstairs two bedroom apartment, which is truly the best one. We hadn’t seen this one bedroom apartment before because long term guests had always been renting it. Previous visits weren’t this disappointing. We paid less for rooms in Sanur, Swiss Belinn Seminyak, lembongan, and Tuban, and each included breakfast. The villas need attention and renovation if they want to keep their reputation. We’ll look for other places that cost less and offer more. Some long term residents also weren’t very welcoming or friendly.

The two bedroom apartment was much better than I expected, with a bathroom, pantry, and dining area. There’s a decent sized pool for a dip, and bike rentals and souvenir shops are nearby. The lane is quieter than the area near Double Six street, while still being ideally located. Staff are always ready to help with a smile. For the facilities, it’s worth the price, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Seminyak.
