Lilin Lovina Beach Hotel

For what we paid, getting a beachfront room with the listed facilities and our own plunge pool felt well worth it. We stayed three days and had a really lovely time. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the AC and fridge were properly cold, and the water heater worked well. Breakfast was just okay, but filling. Given the room price, I hadn’t expected breakfast at all, so I was glad it was included. They arranged a dolphin watching and snorkeling trip for us at a reasonable price. We saw dolphins against a beautiful sunrise, then snorkeled around Taman Laut. We also visited Aling2 Waterfall, about a 20-minute drive away, where we did some jumps and went down the water slide. Thanks for making the stay so memorable and homey. We’d love to come back!

We checked out just 30 minutes after arriving because we couldn’t stay there. In about 11 trips to Bali, this was the worst hotel we’ve stayed at. The pool was empty, dirty, and gross, and there was glass in the tiny plunge pool. The beach was covered in rubbish and so disgusting we wouldn’t even go on it. There was no privacy, the lawn areas were either nonexistent or in poor shape, and food wasn’t available, so you had to go into town. The bar area was a joke. We can’t comment on breakfast. The staff member was lovely.

The warm welcome and good service stood out, especially since we were the only guests during our stay. Our room was clean and lovingly put together, and the interiors were lovely. The pool was nice, though it could use more frequent cleaning. At night, after sunset, the garden was a wonderful place to unwind. The hotel is right on the beach and can arrange an early morning dolphin trip. They charge 200.000 per person, while people on the beach offer it for 100.000. They offer cashback if you don’t see dolphins. We also took a trip to watch the sunset and these beautiful animals.

A refreshing plunge pool and a very comfortable bed made for a great stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious and fairly priced, and it was only a 10-minute walk to bars with music, which suited us perfectly. The hotel sits at the end of the beach and is a lovely little place. The staff were the friendliest I’ve come across at a hotel in Bali, and they really wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I’d happily recommend it to anyone staying nearby.
