Rizal helped us organize our Ijen trip, sort out bike rentals and gear, and arrange transport to Bali. My friends and I felt incredibly lucky to have him as our host. His hospitality went far beyond what we expected, and he was there to help us throughout the stay. We'd wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for the warm, welcoming atmosphere Rizal offers. Thank you so much, Rizal!

The room was clean and affordable, and the owner was really lovely. We arrived at 11 p.m. without a reservation and hadn't eaten, so he kindly welcomed us and reopened his restaurant kitchen to cook for us. The next day, he lent us his scooter to go to an ATM. Thanks again, I highly recommend!

The price is reasonable and it was all fine for me. My room had air con that worked very well, and the rooms are big. The bathroom is small, with cold water and a western style toilet. Shower water sprays onto parts of the toilet, so it's a good idea to close it while showering. There's a basin outside the toilet and shower, plus a small opening on the side for sunlight and somewhere to hang clothes. The wifi is good, though the TV wasn't working at the time, hopefully it works in the future. There was enough parking for 3 cars last time. There are a few power points, but bring an international adapter.
