The room was spacious and the hotel really is close to the beach, just a few minutes on foot. Staff were fairly polite, though unclear replies and language difficulties made even simple requests hard. I paid a decent price after booking through tiket.com because the OTA listing promised a beachfront location and I expected a comfortable room with a beach view. Instead, mine faced a busy main road, with traffic roaring day and night. It was like trying to sleep beside a highway, and I couldn't rest properly. There were stains on the sheets, which felt unhygienic and off-putting for the price. The balcony was dusty and littered with debris and cigarette butts, and the room smelled musty. The air conditioner was old and barely worked. The room description promised a coffee and tea maker, but there wasn't one. There was no tissue, only one towel for two guests, and no hot water, just ordinary cold water despite the hot and cold water listing. Breakfast was just soto ayam, average at best, with little variety. It felt like the bare minimum.

I got a dirty bed and a room without a shower. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again, even if they offered it for free 😁

The rooms are old, but the beach view is nice. The road-facing rooms are very noisy, and the place needs a lot of improvement.

You get sunrise views straight from the room windows, and the price is really cheap. The place and view are a plus, but breakfast isn't very good and the service is awful. It felt like the staff didn't know how a hotel should work. My dorm room gets better service.

In the ground-floor deluxe room, the sea and surf view was wonderful. It was perfect for sitting and doing nothing. That room had air conditioning, a fridge, an electric kettle, and hot water. The bathroom was clean, the aircon worked, and the price wasn't high. Just keep your expectations moderate. This is about deluxe room 101, where we moved on day two. Our first room was at the very front by the road, with buses, lorries, and other vehicles rushing past noisily. It had no hot water, but it was clean and more spacious. Both rooms had plumbing trouble, the flush wouldn't stop running. Neither room had towels or toiletries. In the deluxe room there weren't enough power sockets to run the fridge and kettle at once, and no extra outlet. Luckily, I had brought an extension socket.
