I chose a room with an inner km and found the toilet clean, though the room felt a little short of air, so I had to open the window. There’s a fan, drinking water, and food you can order from the mother. The father also drives for Grab, so he can take you around Banyuwangi, or you can rent a motorbike for 80K/day. I arrived late at night and had to catch the 7 morning train the next day. The price is 80 for the outer km and 100/night for an en-suite bathroom, though prices can change depending on the holiday season. Recommended if you’re just stopping by for a while.

A clean room and bathroom, a soft spring bed, a normal fan, drinking water, and a nice owner. The price is fair and it’s close to Ketapang station. It could use a little more fragrance, but otherwise it’s okay.

The convenient location and the price are the main positives. The room was terribly stuffy, with no windows, and the ceiling fan didn’t work. The bathroom wasn’t pleasant, and the bedding was synthetic. Conditions are pretty spartan.
