Hotel Wijaya 3 Kaliurang by ZUZU

Community gatherings seem well suited here, especially with the complete facilities and fairly affordable rental price. The place is easy to find, too.

Our arrival was late at night, in the rain, but the staff were still friendly. It’s a simple hotel close to the mosque and botanical garden, with parking right outside the rooms. There’s also a dining area and meeting rooms.

At Hotel GJ, online reservations seem unwelcome. Book that way and you may find the facilities aren’t the same: the hot water is switched off, and you get only one bar of soap. Arriving very late could also mean your room has been given to somebody else.

There’s a roomy hall for group events, and the hotel has plenty of amenities, including hot water, TV, and air conditioning. It’s also clean and well cared for despite being relatively old. The food is delicious and filling, the service is good, and the price is fairly affordable. It’s not a big hotel, though it feels typical of places in tourist parks. Wijaya 3 Hotel is one of three Wijaya hotels, each at a different location within the Kaliurang tourist area. This one is in the Kaliurang tourist park area.
