There wasn’t much car parking, and the water heater didn’t work, but I still thought the hotel was great. It was clean and cheap, and the staff were friendly.

I booked for May 6, 2025, but when I got there the hotel wouldn’t open at all. Tawangmangu was dark and closed on every side. So what happened to my money? If there’s a limit on how many guests can come in, they should block the transfer so I can’t pay and then be left unable to enter. Traveloka gave me the same confirmation. I should’ve checked Google reviews first, where all the complaints were...

I had to pay extra cash when I arrived because they rejected my Agoda booking, saying they no longer partnered with OYO. It was late, so I paid and then had to sort out a refund through Agoda. The room was dirty, the mattress springs made it uncomfortable, and the glass window wouldn’t close, so drafts came in. There was no hot water in the bathroom either. For the high price, there are plenty of cheaper options on the app that are definitely better. I was stuck needing a place that night and left disappointed. I highly recommend staying here.

This happened in January 2021. I booked through the OYO app and transferred the money there, but when I got to the hotel it was closed. I messaged them on WhatsApp and they read it without replying. If it wasn’t going to be open, why didn’t anyone let guests know?
