The jeep driver was friendly and helped us take photos and videos, which made the trip even better. My family went on the nature adventure from the popular Lawu Park to Sakura Hills Super Camp for IDR 100,000 per person. We stopped briefly by the tents to take pictures, continued to a strawberry plantation, then returned to Lawu Park. It was a fantastic experience.

The food was quite good, and the room was fairly clean and spacious. The toilet wasn’t working properly, though. The view is superb, but being in the middle of the forest makes it very cold 😁. The water is natural and contains sulphur.

Don’t stay here. Our room and bathroom were dirty, the amenities were poor, and the people around were useless, with no working staff available. I stayed on 9th Sept 2023, and a dangdut orchestra right beside our room played with such loud, heavy bass that I couldn’t sleep. I ended up sleeping in my car. It’s a waste of your money.

The scenery is beautiful and it’s cold here, but the camps don’t seem to be fully maintained. Management needs to improve things. Still, the 4G signal works well, haha.

The water has sulfur in it, so be extra careful if you wash your face. The concept is good, but the landscape design didn’t appeal much to me. It’s not really my cup of tea.
