The rooftop is a nice addition, with views of Mt. Lawu and Sekipan Hill. I’ve stayed here twice with my wife, and both times we had the same spacious, quiet second-floor room: a double bed, tables, chairs and a clothes hanger. There’s a clean bathroom with a Western toilet, hot-water shower, and a large bucket with a scoop. We had two bottles of mineral water and two towels, plus a small soap bar. TV reception was decent on some free channels, and Wi-Fi is free. The owner is friendly, and there’s a motorbike garage as well as roomy car parking. On our first visit, there was a free pot of hot tea and sugar, and the shower temperature worked fine. On the second, we got a hot water thermos with tea bags, coffee and sugar, but the shower was uncontrollably hot because the temperature panel switch was missing. Both visits had the same shortcomings: no sink, toothbrush or toothpaste, shampoo, tissues or toilet paper. The towels were thin and didn’t absorb much, there was only one thin blanket, and there were mosquitoes.

It’s about 200 meters from the main road, with a large parking area that can fit two cars and quite a few motorcycles. The location is also near Grojogan Sewu Waterfall. The living room is spacious and there’s a rooftop, and if you’re hungry, you can order from a menu and have food brought to your room. The accommodation is quite affordable, and the room was comfortable with chairs to relax in and a sink. It was clean and came with bottled water and soap. There’s a water heater, though it doesn’t get very hot, and a TV. The Wi-Fi didn’t work.

The rooftop is a relaxing place at night, and when it rains you can sit at a terrace table. It looks lovely and romantic. The price feels fair, and you get hot water and clean drinking water to take home. The location is decent too. Keep up the cleanliness and comfort.

For a pocket-friendly price, you get a clean room and toilet, a water heater, two towels, one soap and two bottles of drinking water. You can pick an upstairs or downstairs room, and there are chairs and a table on the terrace too.
