The TV was good, and the bathroom was clean. But the toilet lid was broken and just left there unrepaired. The AC also wasn't cold enough. I booked Pondok Sabaraya 1 online and got confirmation for Pondok Sabaraya, but when I arrived, Pondok Sabaraya 1 was full. They moved me to Pondok Sabaraya 2, saying the facilities were the same. I chose Pondok Sabaraya 1 because I'd stayed there before and knew what it was like, so I went along with the move, but the two places were very different. Pondok Sabaraya 2 is a bit tucked away, and its facilities are poorly maintained. There was lots of trash under the bed, including used Aqua trash, and no towels, even though Pondok Sabaraya 1 provides them. The bed made a lot of noise, and its frame looked like it needed repairs. The room was smaller too, and unlike Pondok Sabaraya 1, it had no chairs, table, or sink. Parking seems limited when the rooms are full, and the space is too small, though it felt safe because women were guarding it. The women, who seemed to be the receptionists, asked for a 5 thousand admin fee. Pondok Sabaraya 1 didn't charge an admin fee like that.

The location is strategic, and parking is spacious. The room and furnishings look old-fashioned, though they've been paired with a newer aesthetic. Water runs smoothly, and the AC works well. There was just one towel, soap, and toothbrush for the room, even though there were two guests. You have to ask for the Wi-Fi since the access details aren't listed in the room. For this class, I think it's worth it.

They asked me to pay the gap between the online rate and the walk-in price after I arrived, saying they no longer worked with the booking site. They wanted to see a receipt, but never received one. It felt like a scam: book in advance, then get charged more at the door.
