Majango Bungalows

The garden is beautiful, and the place is a lovely hidden gem, but several things need attention. The pool area is great, though some hammocks or loungers would be nicer than the uninviting covered chairs. The lounge area in each unit also isn't very welcoming, and the pillows are so unpleasant that nobody wants to sit there. Breakfast was disappointing. The pancakes aren't homemade, the smoothie bowl is more like overly sweet baby porridge, fresh coconuts are listed but never available, and the coffee is instant powder. A proper breakfast would improve the stay. The bedrooms are quite big but need more light, since reading without a flashlight is difficult. The pillows are awful and the mattress gets uncomfortable after a while. There were spots on my linen, though I'm not sure whether they came from the laundry. Room service, on the other hand, was nice. The outdoor bathrooms mean dealing with insects, and rain leaves everything wet, which is annoying. For what you get, I found it too expensive. With some improvements, it could be a lovely spot.

We spent almost ten nights here, and every day was a pleasure. The bungalows are new, beautiful, very clean, and well maintained, with careful attention to comfort and detail. They're about ten minutes outside central Kuta, so you get a quiet retreat surrounded by lush nature while staying close to what you need. The staff were warm, attentive, and always around if we needed anything. Mathias especially helped make us feel at home. We'd absolutely return and recommend it to anyone after a peaceful, welcoming stay.

I stayed seven nights in a spacious bungalow with a hammock terrace and open bathroom, surrounded by lush greenery. This peaceful, rustic place has a grounding feel, suited to retreats, integration work, or simply slowing down. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the staff were warm. There was construction on the property during my stay. Housekeeping consistency, pool cleanliness, reception signs, and the availability of small evening snacks could all be better. Even so, I found the atmosphere restorative and would recommend it to anyone looking for nature and quiet on Lombok.

The tropical setting is like paradise, and the bungalows are great, with loads of comfortable space in both the room and on the floor. The service is friendly and helpful, and the host is a handsome dude. If you want to be in Kuta, this is the place.
