It’s in a fairly quiet area, but there aren’t many options nearby, so borrowing a scooter from locals is a good idea. The hosts are very nice and always willing to help. There was construction during our stay, though that didn’t matter if you weren’t spending the whole day by the pool. Once the renovation is finished and the rooms are painted, it’ll be perfect.

I was told my room was an upgrade, but the first one I saw had a window facing a wall. The patio door didn’t lock properly, which left me feeling unsafe on my own. The bathroom was filthy, the paint was peeling, and there was no TV, just a hole where one had been. The wardrobe had spiders instead of hangers. The pool was warm, the umbrellas were moldy, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. The staff were surly and spoke little English, and the online photos didn’t match the place. I checked in and left again two hours later. The owner called to say I’d been “upgraded,” then messaged that she hoped she never had another customer like me. I got in a taxi and burst into tears. Horrible experience.

We had such a lovely stay here, me, my mum, and my son. The staff were kind and always happy to help, even sorting out tours for us. It was quiet, and Ubud central was only about 3-5 minutes away by scooter or Gojek. I’m really grateful we found this place and would come back with more family.

We used the place as a base for visiting Kintamani, Penglipuran Heritage Village, Rice Terraces, Mt Batur View Point, Tirta Ganga and Lempuyang Temple. The property itself was easy to reach, with courteous management and staff, good breakfasts and other food options, plus well-kept pools and gardens. We had a plumbing problem, but they moved us to another room when we told them. Motorbikes are available to rent for an extra charge on request. Recommended.
