The staff are lovely and readily available when you need help, and the atmosphere is good. We booked five rooms but it felt like we had a private villa. There were some room issues here and there: sometimes a room had no hot water, the AC didn’t work properly, a key jammed in the lock, or ants showed up. For the price, you can’t expect five-star rooms. I’d recommend it if you want privacy and family time, and it’s a good place for couples too.

The people were so warm and helpful, the restaurant was excellent, and I had the best massage of my Bali trip. There are plenty of places nearby, though there’s no bar on site. I really liked my stay after visiting four other hotels in Bali, but the room issues were hard to overlook: no reliable hot water, cockroaches, ants, and rats. When one got into my suitcase, they came to trap it but didn’t offer me another room.

Daily cleaning and a tasty breakfast made this a lovely, cozy place to stay. It’s in a quiet spot near busy Ubud, and the staff were kind and always ready to help. I’d happily come back and recommend it.

The quiet starts around 6 AM, when the local geckos, birds, dogs, and roosters all get going. The walls don’t block the sound, so you wake up with the neighborhood. Still, I had a really good stay in a spacious pavilion with a bathtub, and the crew were polite and capable. Internet was good for Bali. Ubud is about a 15-minute drive, depending on traffic. The area is mostly local homes, with little tourist infrastructure beyond what the hotel offers and two nearby local restaurants.
