A good spot in Kepahiang, one of the places worth a look.
There’s a prayer room outside the guest rooms, and the shared kitchen is handy, with water jugs, plates, glasses, and a sink. We also appreciated the secure parking behind the building, with the gate locked after 10 p.m., and the range of useful supplies, from toiletries and towels to hangers and prayer rugs. The room itself felt cramped. We paid 350,000 rupiah for a large bed, but there was barely room to move; the 200,000 IDR room seemed just as tight. The bathtub could use a proper clean, since the water left in it looked dirty. And be careful with the shower heater, it gets too hot. Maybe management could adjust the temperature. This was our first visit to Kepahiang, and we wanted somewhere affordable and comfortable. We chose this hotel from several options because its location was convenient and the exterior looked more reassuring than some other places, which looked a little scary from outside. There are different room rates, starting at around one hundred thousand rupiah. Check the pictures for details.
For a place like this, the price feels too high.
It’s easy to spot on the main road, and the staff were polite. The price was fairly affordable, and the room was reasonably tidy and met our needs. The bathroom was a bit dirty, though, and some rooms had broken TVs. Four stars feels right for a two-star hotel.
A spacious meeting room and rooms with full AC, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, free amenities, and spotless linen make this a good option for family, friends, or work colleagues. Some rooms also include free breakfast. It’s one of the Sharia-compliant inns in Kepahiang, and the amenities are excellent, up to hotel standards.
