Bale Seminyak

The woman working there was lovely. She cleaned the room every day and left breakfast out until everyone had finished. The rooms are on the small side, but if you’re used to hostels this feels like luxury. Such a beautiful place, nothing to complain about, everything was just perfect :)

A lovely tucked-away spot, and really well looked after. The pool was great, and I especially liked the housekeeper’s service. She was very sweet and respectful.

Bale Seminyak is right near the beach and next to Mano Beach House, which we’d recommend too. The place has a lovely private feel, and the staff we saw were friendly and worked hard to keep things clean and tidy. Most staff were helpful. I just wished there had been a mini fridge for milk, since the powdered creamer provided didn’t work for a cup of tea.

We rented the whole Bale and loved it. The villa has its own walled garden with a beautiful pool, within a family-house compound. The garden is spacious, has distinct areas, and is tended daily. The beds and linen were incredibly comfortable, and everything was kept to a good standard. Ami, the house manager, is worth her weight in gold. She’s there every day from 9 to 6, makes the beds, refreshes the bath towels, keeps everything clean, and helps with advice, fruit, or little things that make the stay nicer. The house itself has lovely character. It’s tucked down a small gang behind Petitenget temple, which leads to the back of Mano's beach club and the beach, so it’s very quiet. At the same time, it’s central to Seminyak, Kerobokan, and Batu Belig, with shops, restaurants, and warung nearby if you want them.
