Berry Amour Romantic Villas

The one thing I’d change is the pool cleaning. There was an algae film on the waterline and pool walls, and the glass section needed a deep clean too. Everything else made for a beautiful four-night stay. Our butler, Tiara, was kind and helpful, and all the staff were welcoming and went out of their way for us. The price felt very reasonable, and this is easily the best place we’ve stayed. We’ll be back. Breakfast arrived in our room each morning at a time we chose, and the floating breakfast was available at no extra cost. The accommodation and hospitality were lovely. It felt secluded, private, and romantic, and the romantic packages are a great idea. We loved the layout, including the neon lights at the entrance that another review said spoiled the mood. The entryway was beautiful too. Whenever we left, a staff member came out to help direct traffic so we could leave safely. Once, when we forgot something in the car, they ran after it so we wouldn’t have to.

We could walk to lots of good restaurants from the villas, right in the heart of Seminyak. The beach was about a 30-minute walk away. We spent five nights in the Temptation Villa at Berry Amour Romantic Villas to start our Bali trip, and it exceeded our expectations. The private pool and jacuzzi got plenty of use, and we could order food, drinks, and shisha whenever we wanted. Breakfast was brought to us each morning at the time we chose. On arrival, we were greeted with welcome drinks and shown to a gorgeous villa. The staff were all incredibly friendly. Tiara was especially helpful and accommodating, while Martini and Succi kept the room tidy and restocked the amenities when we asked. Thanks for a great start to our trip!

The kindest moment came when my husband left something at a nearby restaurant. The security guard offered to take him there on his motorbike to get it. Staff were thoughtful and helpful overall, balancing their eagerness to assist with respect for our privacy. I ordered a few Grab deliveries to eat in, and they helped get the food to us quickly and considerately. We liked having a mini fridge for cold drinks and eating breakfast in our villa each day, so we could linger by the pool or spa. The menu had enough choices for most preferences and dietary needs. Welcome and goodbye drinks, bracelets, and a flower crown were part of the hospitality. The beds were comfortable, and the complimentary toiletries were a nice selection. The grounds felt tranquil and inviting, though the neon signs disrupted the atmosphere a little. We mostly spoke with the sweet front desk ladies, who speak fairly good English. We were supposedly assigned a dedicated staff member or butler, as at other resorts, but only saw him at check-in. Some things could be improved. The towels were dingy and frayed, which didn’t fit the romantic experience the staff seemed to be aiming for. They should be replaced, or at least bleached regularly, along with the robes and bedding. Some interior areas, including the flooring, showed wear. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash might work better in larger dispensers as an eco-friendly option, and with a more natural, subtle floral or tropical scent. The spa tubs might look cleaner with plumeria instead of flowers that shed so much.

Tiara made our stay at Berry Amour a real pleasure. She was cheerful, quick to help with any concerns, and gave us advice when we weren’t sure what to do that day. We stayed in the Chorum lounge and loved the hot tub, pool, and great air conditioning. The bed was arranged beautifully every day, and we enjoyed the floating breakfast in the pool. There’s a convenience store just 10 steps down the road.
