Kleo Seminyak, part of JdV by Hyatt

Our corner room was lovely and everything worked well. It had a balcony and a living room area that could be turned into a bed. The staff were friendly, down to earth, and attentive to what we needed. We could borrow bicycles and umbrellas, and it was easy to walk around the area. KLEO is four stories tall, with a rooftop pool. The food was good, though not amazing, and there was plenty of space to sit indoors or out. The location is great: it’s about a 3-5 minute walk to Alila, which is also part of Hyatt and has beach access, a pool, and other services. We had a wonderful time here.

Hana made everything feel effortless, helping us with whatever we needed and paying close attention to the details. When I celebrated my birthday, the team surprised me with a personal birthday message and the cutest cake made out of towels. It was such a fun, thoughtful touch, and made me feel really appreciated. My mum had the best first trip to Bali, and KLEO Seminyak was a big part of why it was unforgettable. We were welcomed with genuine smiles, and the front guards helped us feel safe coming and going. The staff were consistently caring, warm, and attentive. This has become our favourite hotel in Bali. We’ll absolutely come back on our next trip. Highly recommend!

Zia Tina was a highlight. The made-to-order breakfast was much better than a typical buffet, with freshly cooked, nicely presented dishes. Dinner was impressive too. The pappardelle was rich and eggy, and tasted authentically Italian, possibly handmade. The place feels warm and personal, more cozy than a grand resort. Housekeeping welcomed us back each evening with lovely towel animals. There was a minor leak in one room, probably a teething issue for a new property, but the staff sorted it promptly and professionally. At about half the price of Alila, it offers great value. The service and comfort were excellent, and the food quality makes it easy to recommend. There are a few premium touches missing, including a bathtub, and some small maintenance issues. It’s a warm, memorable stay, though I’d put it closer to a strong four-star than a full five-star property while it’s still maturing.

Zia Tina is delicious, and the team there is so sweet. Breakfast is served there if it’s included, with loads of options, great coffee, and plenty of food. At lunch or dinner they bring warm popcorn and hot bread first, both dangerously good. The Alfredo pasta is cooked in front of you, and the pastries are 🤌🏽. Big shoutout to Syaz, the Operations Manager, for being so welcoming and making sure everything was great from start to finish. The rooftop pool and bar have full Miami vibes, looking over the street, so it’s fun to watch the people and traffic. The pool towels and furniture feel luxe, too. You’re 1-10 minutes from some of Seminyak’s best restaurants and spas. Alila, the sister resort, is just a few minutes down the same road. They can take you over by buggy for the restaurant or spa, which is a nice touch. There’s also a pool day pass, subject to availability, if you’re not staying at the hotel. For my Bali-loving friends, I’m staying at @kleoseminyak (Hyatt), the new sister resort to Alila, and I’m officially obsessed. The rooms are spacious, and the price for what you get is incredible. I highly recommend the inclusive package on the Hyatt website, or messaging the hotel directly. I’m already counting down to my return, and I haven’t even left yet 🌞
