Jo, please have the manager process my refund. Keeping information from me was bad enough, but ignoring messages after being deceitful has gone too far. I booked the villa months in advance for a group trip, which was cancelled because of weather and safety issues. I asked to cancel more than two months before the booked dates. Months earlier, I’d asked Jo about the cancellation policy because nothing was written on the invoices, and he didn’t mention any policy. Only later did he suddenly say there would be no refund. We aren’t cancelling because we dislike the villa. We still hope to book it another time, but right now we can’t go ahead for safety reasons. If you have a refund policy, tell your customers instead of withholding that information. That isn’t honest business. I’ll leave this one-star review up until my refund arrives. I don’t need to explain further unless you choose to ignore me for another week. Please do the right thing.

Our group of friends had a beautiful, private place to ourselves, with separate rooms arranged around the pool and shared area. The team were so kind and attentive, sorting everything from meals and massages to special requests. I couldn’t rate this villa highly enough and would absolutely stay again! ☀️

The staff were friendly and attentive, and made sure our needs were taken care of. It’s a beautiful villa for unwinding in Bali, with a peaceful garden, a stunning pool area, and clean, comfortable rooms. I had an incredible stay at Villa Sol Lila Bali and highly recommend it.

The outdoor bathroom was cute, the room was nice, and I enjoyed dipping in the pool. The staff I met were friendly too. It’s a comfortable stay in a well-designed Airbnb, though getting around on foot was pretty difficult, so I used taxis. I think your experience depends a lot on who else is staying there, which isn’t really down to the villa. The other guests were fairly unfriendly during my visit, and that dampened the stay.
