The villa itself had lovely staff and a fabulous location, but after all the trouble getting there, I'd never stay again. Our whole family, 16 of us, had booked it nine months ahead so we could celebrate my dad's 70th birthday together in July 2017. Just a few days before we arrived, we were told we couldn't stay the first night because of water pump repairs. We pushed back and were very unhappy. Instead, they put us in a very ordinary villa in Umalas and gave us minimal compensation. We finally got to the booked villa the next day, on my dad's actual birthday. They could tell we were upset about being moved. The lovely villa manager admitted it had been double-booked and said an online company handled the bookings. I still don't understand how that happened when we'd booked nine months earlier.

The local staff are probably doing what they can, but management needs to make this right, especially since we've already paid. The pool has been green and full of algae, so we can't use it, even though we reported it three days ago. We can put up with the leaking air conditioner and faulty toilets, but the pool situation is incredibly disappointing.

Jazz 1 and 2 are adjoining villas and can be booked together, though each room still has its own front door key. It's a spacious place right in the heart of Seminyak. The host was helpful and flexible, while giving us plenty of space. I highly recommend it for accommodation.

The staff were really helpful, and the villa is roomy, centrally located, and equipped with what you need. There are drainage problems, though, and a constant smell in the bathrooms.
