Villa Alice

The quiet spot at the end of a dead-end street made nights peaceful, even though Eat Street and all its restaurants and cafes were an easy walk away. Seminyak Village Shopping Mall was about seven minutes on foot, and there was a small convenience store at the other end of the street. Inside, the open living and dining space leads straight to the pool. The garden is lush, the pool area lovely, and both bedrooms are huge, with stone tubs and outdoor showers in the ensuite bathrooms. The photos are accurate, but Villa Alice was even nicer in person. My daughter and I had such a relaxing week there. Made and his staff cooked a delicious breakfast each morning and cleaned the villa beautifully every day. They handled airport transfers, WiFi, a welcome drink, and fresh fruit, and even came by in the evenings to light mosquito coils and spray for insects. They were always available, including on WhatsApp after hours, and gave us recommendations. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and there was security at night. We loved our stay.

We’ve returned to Villa Alice for our Bali holidays for years, and it still never lets us down. The staff make us feel at home, from the warm welcome drink after a long trip to arranging transport and making delicious breakfasts each morning. Their kindness and care really made the stay special. The villa has a spacious, spotless open living area that opens onto a tropical garden and private pool. The pool is well kept and surrounded by greenery, a lovely place for a sunny afternoon. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, with ensuite bathrooms and outdoor showers. The design has a Balinese feel while still being comfortable and luxurious. It’s on a quiet street, but Seminyak’s cafes, shops, and restaurants are just a short walk away. We find it peaceful and private despite being so close to everything. It continues to exceed what we expect, and we can’t wait to return.

Eat Street, with its restaurants and shops, is only a short walk away, and the convenience store, coffee, and spa are close too. Villa Alice felt like home, helped along by the staff, who were so attentive and lovely with my two young children. They shared local tips, helped with a few errands, and planned room cleaning around our day. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The villa is spacious, has a private pool, and is surrounded by beautiful greenery. We had a seamless stay.

It’s reassuring to know there’s a security guard outside each night, though we never saw an obvious need for one. Staff are around much of the day, and Villa Alice sits at the end of a very quiet one-way street. A small convenience store open 24/7 is just at the street’s end. The villa is very spacious, and the pool and yard stayed spotless throughout our visit. Manager Mr Made Mertana went out of his way to make sure our stay and planned tours all went smoothly. I highly recommend it.
