Villa Balitung Seminyak

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Balitung Seminyak, Bali and would stay there again when we return to Bali. I'll recommend it to my friends.

Fantastic!

We felt offended, disappointed, and deceived. The villa was already dirty on arrival, but what made it even more frustrating was feeling that our concerns didn't matter. We strongly advise against staying here. Dust covered the living room table, bedside tables, and bedroom furniture. The bathroom surfaces had black dust on them. When I hung up a towel, it picked up a huge cobweb, and moving the sheets revealed dead insects underneath. We complained and got a very slow response. We were told a cleaner would come at 2:00 PM the next day, but by 2:30 nobody had arrived. We went to reception twice before a friendly, smiling lady eventually came. I asked her to clean the dusty, cobweb covered bathroom walls and bathtub properly. I showed her the dirty towel and asked for a clean one, and asked whether I could have a sheet instead because the duvet was too warm. When we came back, the bathroom was just as we'd left it, including the uncleaned sink and dirty bathtub. The towel was still hanging there. The clean sheets hadn't been put on the bed; they'd been left on a dusty side table, and they smelled musty and damp. At most, the floor may have been cleaned, though that was the least of our concerns. All the usable surfaces were still filthy and dusty. Afterwards, our emails went unanswered, and nobody was available at reception. The place lacked proper maintenance, and despite sending someone over, nothing was properly cleaned.
