Villa Cascade

Govinda was especially kind and made sure we got the best service. The villa itself is great and private, and the staff were all friendly. I’d recommend staying here!

The fish are what I keep thinking about. The water in their indoor “pond” was so low they could barely swim. My friends and I used the pots, pan, and kettle to add some water, and they seemed happier and swam more afterward. I honestly don’t know if they’re even fed. It made me so sad, and it felt like animal abuse. There were also glass plant pots filled with water that had mosquito larvae in them, and the villa was covered in mosquitoes even with all the doors shut. The bathrooms smelled awful, like a long drop toilet even before anyone used them, and the showers had so much buildup they clearly hadn’t been maintained. Some tiles were loose enough to wiggle when you walked on them. The living room AC barely did anything. In the closet rooms, the AC sounded like air was blowing, but you couldn’t feel it at the far end. We booked a four-room villa for a group of friends last week, but when we arrived, the attendant said it only had three bedrooms. That was technically true, but there were also two closets fitted with single beds. We split the cost four ways, and one person got stuck with one of those rooms. It felt like we’d been catfished. Those two closet rooms share one toilet and bathroom, and the sink is open to the “living area,” so everyone can watch you brush your teeth. I was surprised this place had such high reviews, then saw they were all from two years ago. It’s definitely gone downhill. You walk in, see the beautiful pool, and think it’s a nice place, then go inside and see what it’s really like. I’d highly recommend spending your money elsewhere. I’m just so sad about those fish. Come on, adding more water isn’t hard. I’m sure there’s a hose!

We had a great time here. It was peaceful and luxurious, with clean rooms, modern interiors, and a great pool. All the staff were wonderful and did everything they could to make our stay special. Thanks so much.

With five bedrooms, this spacious, homey villa has good facilities and its own pool. A great fit for a family holiday ❤
