The villa has a bedroom with its own bathroom and a cozy, stylish living space that opens onto a garden and private pool through sliding doors. It’s just off the main road, so there was very little noise, and it had everything we needed for two. They provided lots of towels and a drinking water tap, and the owner was quick and easy to reach all weekend. We were the first guests after the renovations, and it looks even better now than it does in the Google pictures. We had a great weekend.

The host was friendly, the villa was lovely, and the location was good. I only wish I’d stayed longer.

There’s a club nearby that plays music until 6am. You can hear it all through the unit, and it even shakes the building. The place is also down a disgusting, smelly alley with no curb appeal. Inside, the pool, coffee maker, and stove were broken, and I got worn out from repeatedly contacting them to get things fixed. There was a horrible smell from a gas leak. They tried to fix it twice, but I eventually took the whole thing out and put it outside. Others have reported similar problems, and the Airbnb reviews are bad too. I wouldn’t book this accommodation.

The villa has recently been renovated and is centrally located, a few minutes from Canggu and about an hour from Uluwatu. Housekeeping came daily, and there was also a concierge available to arrange activities and outings. The whole staff was always responsive to our requests.
