Villa Retro 88

For what we paid, this place was really worth it. The villa was perfectly clean, the rooms were quite spacious, the kitchen was great, and we could watch what we wanted on NETFLIX, IPTV and satellite TV. The pool was lovely too, we really loved it. It would suit a vacation, honeymoon or staycation 🙂 Thanks to the host, Mr. David, for being so generous, and to the manager, Mr. Wayan, for the warm welcome. He explained what we needed to know and where to find whatever we wanted. We're looking forward to staying there again 🙂 Kind regards, M. & family 🙂

We spent nine days at this villa, just a ten-minute walk from Petitenget Beach. There was everything we needed for cooking, laundry and cleaning. The pool is small but fine for a little family, and the parking space inside was big enough for a large car.

Good value and a handy base in Seminyak. There’s a digital TV box and Netflix, plus a cozy private pool, though I wouldn't really recommend it for toddlers to swim and play. The villa has more than enough space for two families. Cooking and eating utensils are complete, including a rice cooker and oven, and there’s plenty of clothesline space. The private parking spot is only suitable for a small or medium car. Watch for oncoming vehicles on the narrow, one-way access road. The AC in both rooms and the kitchen drain need maintenance, and a washing machine would be a good addition.

I wouldn't recommend this host. We booked a month ahead, then only heard a couple of days before arrival that they couldn't host us because the property was overbooked. The host blamed the reservation site for the mistake. The site said, "We are working our best to prevent situations like this and hotel was supposed to report this issue long time before arrival." I wish the host had let us know sooner, so we didn't have to scramble with our plans.
